Chapman-Sharma Family

Hi, I'm an ESOL teacher and our family has hosted international guests for many years. We are 5 minutes to the beach & tennis courts. We have wireless broadband, a pool, 3 meals daily (VEGETARIAN & meat options). Mom (American/Kiwi), dad (Indian), and 3 children ages 7, 9, 11, and our cool cat, Cosmo.

We have a large 5 bedroom home in Murrays Bay, North Shore, Auckland, New Zealand. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. The bus commute to downtown central Auckland is 25 minutes. The bus commute to Browns Bay which has a lovely English school is 10 minutes.

The guest room is downstairs, very private and has its own entrance from the outside. The guest room is very large, has a double bed, closet, clock/CD, sink with vanity mirror and hair dryer, microwave. I will wash your laundry if you wish or you can do it yourself.

We are a very international family: I was born in America, my husband is Indian and our 3 children are Kiwis but were born in Japan. We speak English, Japanese, and Hindi. We have a well-behaved fluffy cat named Cosmo.

We cook 2 dinners every night: 1 vegetarian and 1 meat. 3 meals a day are included in the rent: dinner is a hot, cooked meal; breakfast is self-serve and if you’d like to make a sandwich to bring to school, you are welcome to do that.
